Public-private partnerships can strengthen health systems
A pioneer in integrating the private sector into the health system in Africa, entrepreneur Amit Thakker actively supports governments, companies, health organizations and development partners to promote effective Public-Private Partnerships to achieve better health outcomes.
Executive President of Africa Health Business, a health investment and consultancy company, Amit Thakker is going to be a speaker at the Brazil Africa Forum 2020 and intends to highlight the key role of cooperation to ensure access to quality healthcare at affordable prices throughout Africa.

Amit Thakker also chairs the Africa Healthcare Federation, the Kenya Healthcare Federation and advises several organizations. His expertise in the healthcare industry has secured several awards over the past few decades. The most recent of these was in 2017, when he was considered Kenya’s best CEO in the Business & Professional Services category.
