Ibraimo Abdul Carimo Issufo Ibraimo | Founding partner of Ernest and Young and Former Chairman of the Executive Board of Moza Bank
Graduated in Law with a post-graduate degree in Business Law from the Universidade Clássica de Lisboa, he spent 22 years in the Mozambican Ministry of Finance, where he became a Senior Inspector of Finance and held various management positions, including National Director of Tax and Audit. During this time, he was a member of the Customs Technical Council and sat on the governing bodies of companies such as Hidroelétrica de Cabora Bassa and KPMG. He was a founding partner of the American auditing and consulting multinational Ernst & Young, acting as Country Managing Partner and member of the International Board. From 2007 to 2013, he chaired the Executive Committee of BCI – Banco Comercial e de Investimentos de Moçambique, and from 2014 to 2016, he was Chairman of the Executive Committee of Moza Banco. He also taught at Eduardo Mondlane University for 22 years and has published several articles in the areas of Tax Law and Banking Law.
