Enio Verri | Brazilian General Director of Itaipu Binacional
An economist specializing in economic theory, Verri holds both a master’s degree in economics and a doctorate in Latin American integration from the University of São Paulo (USP). He has served as both a federal and state deputy in Paraná, where he participated in key committees, including Finance and Taxation, and Economic Development, Industry, Trade, and Services. Before entering politics, Verri was a professor of economics at the State University of Maringá (UEM). His public service includes roles as Municipal Secretary of Finance for Maringá City Hall (2001-2003), Municipal Secretary of Government (2003-2004), and Secretary of State for Planning in the Government of Paraná from 2007 to 2010.
